1 in 8 women develop breast cancer in our lives. 11 friends and I wanted to help stop that.
As part of the pledging process of Alpha Kappa Psi in fall of 2020, we were tasked to build a business with $100 and all proceeds going to a charity of our choice. And so - 1'n8 was born. In the middle of the pandemic.
We sold Breast Cancer Awareness-themed face masks with 5 different designs for 1 month. Specifically, I worked in our Marketing Team, where we deployed an extensive social media campaign to drive sales including advertisements, giveaways, and weekly member shoutouts. 
The result? 3,650 accounts reached, 1,094 engagements, over $1,300 in revenue in less than 30 days and nearly $300 of profit - all donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
